QuickConfirm License Verification Terms & Conditions

Please read and certify that you have read the Disclaimers and terms and conditions for access to the Nursys database and to use the Nursys QuickConfirm License Verification service. If you are an employer of nurses, you must also certify your compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act ("FCRA") below. Also refer to additional Terms of Use and Privacy & Security policies for NCSBN websites.

The Nursys nurse licensure and disciplinary database is the repository of the license and disciplinary data of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing ("NCSBN") member boards of nursing. NCSBN grants you a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to access the Nursys database to verify your licensure and disciplinary history for purposes of licensure, endorsement and/or employment. This license does not permit, or include the right to, any reproduction, reuse, sale or other commercial or derivative use of any Nursys data. You are prohibited from any downloading or copying of any data for any third party's use or from accessing the Nursys database with any data mining or automated data gathering or extraction tools.

Notice – Disclaimer of Representations & Warranties

Through a written agreement, participating individual boards of nursing designate Nursys as a primary source equivalent database. NCSBN posts the information in Nursys when, and as, submitted by the individual boards of nursing. NCSBN may not make any changes to the submitted information and disclaims any responsibility to update or verify such information as it is received from the individual boards of nursing. Nursys displays the dates on which a board of nursing updated its information in Nursys.

In order to challenge the content, accuracy or completeness of individual records displayed on Nursys, you may register a challenge by email to NursysSupport@ncsbn.org. Nursys shall promptly forward your challenge to the nursing regulatory body (board of nursing) and that nursing regulatory body will notify you of a resolution.
